Anna's Plans for May

Well, my April project ended up being a bust, so I'm just moving forward with a new project for May. This month, I'm planning to make Vogue 8951. I'll be making view B, which has a hood and a kangaroo pocket. I'm planning to use a black cotton interlock for the main fabric, but use the gray and red chevron jersey for a contrast hood lining.

There are a few more details on my blog if you're interested. Happy sewing!

  1. We all have busts - I had a great one last week - but that is also our learning curve, so all is never lost :) I love this top - be interesting to see it come together.

  2. This one sounds like it would be a really top with the contrast hood lining. Just an idea: if you have enough of the chevron fabric left after finishing the hood lining, perhaps you can use that to bind the kangaroo pockets to make it even more funky? Just a thought! :-)
