  1. I like the yellow. Yellow to me is a happy color and a graduation is certainly a happy occasion!

  2. The yellow! This pattern has an awful lot of seams and small pieces. I think the second print is a bit busy and will be very hard to match.

  3. I love the blue one. It really stands out. :) I wouldn't worry about trying to match the print as that just adds to the character of the piece. Best wishes on this project. :)

  4. I still think you should make both. Consider one a wearable muslin and have more options on the day.

  5. Love the pattern...it is always pretty. I think the yellow would be beautiful...the smaller print would give emphasis to the pattern. BUT, both are beautiful pieces....maybe the blue for the straight skirt and the yellow for the full.
A winner either way. Can't wait to see the finished product!

  6. The yellow is so pretty - and you can easily add accessories to highlight the dress. Marianne is right - the yellow would work better for the smaller pattern pieces.

  7. Definitely the yellow one fabric and either view A (or even D, with the sleeves). The yellow is more subtle, and won't call attention to either you or your dress. Appropriate attire for an event where the focus of attention should be on the graduates, not their parents.
