Vogue 1052

My January garment will be the Issey Miyake jacket in Vogue 1052.  I plan on using the teal gabardine fabric for the jacket, but I can't decide on which lining to use?  The circle one leftover from my last project, or the cherry print one?  Visit my blog at Stars Threads and leave me a comment with your lining preference.  I plan on cutting the jacket out next weekend.  Thanks everyone!

Happy Sewing!

  1. Hi Maria, what a pretty jacket. I really love it. It is so feminine. I like jackets that have ruffles and little details that make them look soft. Now that I am getting older I find that my chin and neck area are sagging a bit just like my mother's did and blouses and jackets that have pretty neck lines are much more flattering to me. Women in the past really understood fashion and what is beautiful. I have been collecting pretty scarves lately too. I also love to wear rose pins made from sheer fabric. I have a few in several colors. I hope you have a lovely sunday afternoon! Happy sewing! With Love, Delisa :)

  2. Well, I'll pay a visit and tell you soon:). It is a beautiful jacket - strange, until someone blogs about a pattern, sometimes you tend not to "see"it - this is absolutely gorgeous - good luck :)
